External Whistleblowing channel for IDE House of Brands 

Welcome to the external whistleblowing channel for IDE House of Brands. This system is independently operated and monitored by BDO Norway’s Forensic Services.
This whistleblowing channel is open to employees, consultants, contractors, suppliers and partners of IDE House of Brands, as well as to external third parties affiliated with IDE House of Brands. Reports regarding instances of objectionable conditions, whether ethical or legal, can be made to this channel in connection with IDE House of Brands and any of its business partners.
Guidelines for reporting an incident
The following list presents specific circumstances of wrongdoing covered by whistleblowing regulations, including the protection of those who choose to report an incident:
Danger to life or health
Damage to the environment
Corruption and other forms of economic misconduct
Abuse of authority
Inappropriate workplace behaviour
Violations of privacy laws, including violations leading to the unauthorized release of personally-identifiable information
Violations of code of conduct or ethics guidelines
If your case does not fall within any of the above categories, your case will be handled via different routines than described in the whistleblowing guidelines.
Please provide as detailed and accurate information as possible. If you would like those who investigate the report to be able to contact you, you are required to provide your name and contact details. In this way they will be able to keep you informed of the status of your case or request any additional information that could be important for investigating your report. You may choose to hide your identity completely, although please be aware that this may make it difficult to investigate your report. You may also choose to remain partly anonymous, revealing your identity only to BDO Forensic Services. In such cases IDE House of Brands will not be made aware of your identity and will only be able to obtain additional information via BDO Forensic Services.

Terms of use

Feedback (the ”Service”)

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

You will also be asked to accept our privacy policy if you choose to register. Additionally you’ll be asked to accept our terms and conditions for how personal information (“Personvernerklæring”) is handled when registering a new user for the Service and/or providing information while using the Service.

1. Details about the Service

All use of the Service is free. Access to the Service is limited to your own personal use or on behalf of the organization(s) you represent. You can not sell any information or results from the Service without permission from BDO

Based on the information we receive from you complete forms in the Service, we will use them in a temporary summarized report for analytical means.

The Service may change at any time, without explicit consent from our users. This includes the right to terminate the Service and/or introduce limits to access and use.

2. Customer support

The Service comes with no guarantee for missing features or errors, or that it is accessible and usable for its intended purpose. The Service may also be unavailable periodically for maintenance and/or updates etc.

If you experience something amiss with the Service, we kindly ask to inform feedback@bdo.no. We take these reports seriously and work continuously to provide the best user experience.

3. Availability

These terms of service applies to use of the Service as long as it is available. You can, at any time or date, terminate the use of the Service and unsubscribe from future emails related to the Service.

4. Service ownership

BDO owns all rights to the Service, including all software, brands, forms, images and other content. Your rights to the Service is limited to use of its intended purpose, see point 1 above.

5. Data and content ownership

You own all rights to data and content that you upload or store when using the Service. We can not sell or otherwise make this information available for third parties or use it in any other way that what is outlined by the Privacy policy.

We cannot guarantee that data from use of the Service will not go lost or get damaged, and we strongly encourage all users to take backups. This includes no limit to our responsibility for keeping necessary information security and integrity when storing and treating personal information, as described by the Privacy policy.

6. Responsibility

Content provided by the Service is only general information and can not replace professional guidance on the topics they encompass. Please contact one of BDOs offices if you require answers to specific questions related to the topic. BDO, the company’s partners, employees or collaborators are not responsible for any losses as a result of actions or decisions taken based on the content provided by the Service.

BDO declines all responsibility for any losses or damages, directly or indirectly, that may occur when using the Service and/or decisions taken based on the reports, analysis and/or other feedbacks you receive when using the Service.
